Alaska Airline’s Unique Seattle - Cleveland - Pittsburgh - Seattle Seasonal Service

Route Details

For 5 weeks from early January to mid February 2024, Alaska combined their Seattle to Cleveland and Pittsburgh season due to lower seasonal demand. The route is typically flown on a 737-900ER. A very unique connection in the US, Alaska is flying SEA to PIT via CLE and CLE to SEA via PIT. The rest of the year Alaska flies these routes directly and even up to twice daily during the peak summer season. Below is the schedule for the flights -

AS445 departs SEA 7:59am arrives CLE 3:27pm

AS445 departs CLE 4:27pm arrives PIT 5:16pm

AS445 departs PIT 6:12pm arrives SEA 8:48pm

As seen below the flights are sold as a through ticket with customers staying on the same aircraft through Cleveland. On 2/14/24 the ticket prices are pretty reasonable with “Saver” tickets going for $124 each direction.

Most interesting is the 49 minute flight from Cleveland to Pittsburgh is bookable for as low as $109 on 2/14/24. A very rare route flying just the one direction and only covering just 106 miles.
